Renaissance Dimensions

In talking about dimensions and art I thought it might be good point out a renaissance piece of art that exemplifies the vanishing point(suggesting that the image does on into infinity), and painting three dimensional image onto a flat surface. At the time this was a huge step forward from more flat medieval european images. We can see how figures in the distance gradually diminish in size and the lines on the pavement show the receding perspective lines.
